•  Area: 700 ha, divided into 4 sub - zones:

            - A sub - zone: 152.13 ha with some active plants

            - B sub- zone: 147.17 ha (sand processing zone), the enterprise has invested in construction of the infrastructure.

            - C sub - zone: 100.7 ha and the enterprise has invested in construction of the infrastructure.

            - Phong Dien Viglacera Industrial Zone: 300 ha and the enterprise has invested in construction of the infrastructure.

• Geographical location: Located in Phong Dien District, about 30 km away from Hue City to the North and close to the National Route 1A and North - South Railway. It is about 45 km away from the Phu Bai International Airport and 70 km away from the Chan May Seaport.

•  Potentials and advantages: it is situated near a good quartz quarry with huge reserve.

• Orientation for investment attraction:

            - Priority should be given to calling for the centralized wastewater treatment plant.

            - For the industrial manufacture projects: Priority should be given for the projects associated with the silicate materials; production of construction materials; agro-forestry product processing; textile - dyeing - apparel industries, fashion apparel industry, supporting industry for the textile industry. Particularly, the Zone B and extended Zone B (147.17 ha) are exclusive for developing the processing industries of quartz sand and silicate.
